Two years ago, Little Spoon Founder and President Melissa Hanna was inspired to create a business model that would be based on partnerships and collaboration. Being a lover of desserts, it seemed natural to Melissa that the business should be a dessert company.

Also two years ago, Melissa met Little Spoon Vice President Laurel Tincher through their mutual involvement in the Los Angeles event production industry. In August 2009, Melissa pitched the idea for Little Spoon to Laurel and the company was launched two months later.

From the start, Little Spoon has been well-received by customers and collaborators alike. Its philosophy, "Innovation through collaboration", has propelled the company forward, and the excitement surrounding this new brand has helped it grow at a record pace. Melissa and Laurel are grateful for the support they have received and thrilled to be embarking on this epicurean journey!
